pimohtewak (the one who walks)

Just picture yourself on a January evening – all bundled up in your winter attire – arriving at the Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan site. At our box office you receive a smartphone with earbuds. You are instructed to put in the ear buds and press play… For the next half hour, you go on a winter walk … a journey that tells you where to go, what to look for, what to find and do… all while listening to the personal stories of a resident of our beautiful Treaty 6, the official homeland of the Métis. Event information about pimohtewak : Ticket price: FREE Dates: January 22-27th 2019 Time slots: 6:30pm, 7:10pm, 7:50pm, and 8:30pm. Amount of tickets per show: 8 people per half hour. You must sign up in advance to receive instructions and starting point info!

Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is proud to bring to Saskatoon, pimohtewak, Cree for ‘the ones who walk,’ is a collaborative multidisciplinary piece on and around our site this winter! This free interactive storytelling experience will be available as a free smartphone app and will incorporate complimentary lighting & visual design during Wintercity Shake Up and Winterruption. This project is made possible through the City of Saskatoon WintercityYXE grant and sponsorship of Production Lighting.

Please note: - The show will run 30 minutes outdoors. Please dress for the weather! - All sites are accessible by electronic wheelchairs. - While we encourage audience members to bring your own iPhones/headphones they can be provided as needed.

Management reserves the right to refuse admission and/or to expel from the premises anyone whose presence or conduct is deemed by it to be objectionable. Expulsion cancels this ticket and the holder thereupon forfeits all claims, including any claim to a refund.

pimothewak Ticket Policy: Ticket holders must present themselves to the Festival Box Office at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time as listed on the ticket. As this is a free event with very limited capacity, should a ticket holder not present his or her self by this time, the ticket may be given away to the first person on the waiting list. Should the original ticket holder arrive late or after his or her ticket has been re-distributed, SOTS will attempt to re-book the original ticket holder into another performance slot (availability pending). Ticket holder consents to SOTS using their image or likeness incidental to any video display, photograph, transmission or recording of the event by SOTS or other promoter. Ticket user assumes all risks of personal injury incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the event. The use of cameras, video, or audio recording devices is prohibited.

Should a performance be cancelled due to inclement weather, this ticket may be exchanged for another performance of the same play without penalty at the box office. Refunds or exchanges: Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same play up to 15 minutes in advance of performance time.
